The undoubted highlight of the African Nations Cup in South Africa has been the performances of the Cape Verde football team in their first ever tournament appearance, who after progressing magnificently to the Quarter-Finals were unluckily beaten via a controversial penalty decision and a injury time goal last Saturday. Today they returned to Praia to a heroes welcome, and amongst the dignatories to greet the Blue Sharks was our very own Miss West Africa International Queen Vanny Reis, who got a few pictures with Cape Verde’s new stars.
