FIMA, the International Festival of African Fashion was created to help African designers express their talent on a cultural and international platform. The 8th Edition was held in Niamey, Capital of Niger from Wednesday 23 to Sunday, November 27th 2011 in Niamey, Capital of Niger, where Miss West Africa Mali, the amazing Evelyn Jacques travelled to when she was cast to catwalk at several shows for prominent designers showcasing their collections at the event. It was a fantastic festival and I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of Evelyn on the catwalk soon.
