Our two beautiful queens from Eliza Pajibo MWA Liberia 2011) and Yassin Jagne (MWA Gambia 2011) recently met up for a few days in Liberia, where Yassin celebrated her birthday. As always they were thinking of others and helping those in need, so they spent the day speaking to the children and distributing presents at the local charity school.
Our childrens literacy and education are very important issues to all the Miss West Africa queens. Recently Yassin Jagne, Miss West Africa Gambia showed her commitment towards this when she created an Inter School Poem and Fiction Competition between secondary schools in Gambia. The theme the students had to write on was “I choose” and the lucky winners received books and a certificate presented by Yassin herself. Congratulations to all those who took part.
