Miss West Africa Int. Meets Cape Verdean President To Improve Beauty Pageants In Africa


Dandira Veiga, Miss West Africa International 2018 was honored an opportunity to meet the President of Cape Verde Dr Jorge Carlos Fonseca on Friday 8th March 2018 to discuss on how to promote beauty, tourism and role models in Africa. Dandira is already proving herself to be a classy and well deserving beauty queen of the Miss West Africa International title. Her meeting with Dr Jorge Carlos Fonseca was a prime significance of highlighting the importance of beauty queens in development within the African world.

Our latest edition of Miss West Africa International was hosted in Gambia, Banjul on the 4th of January 2019. The event saw 15 countries battle it out for the crown and the lady set to take her titled from the well served beauty queen and winner of Miss West Africa International 2014 Florence Epee. The night saw DANDIRA, Miss West Africa Cape Verde, now Miss West Africa International Elect, emerge as the winner, with MARIATOU SARR from Gambia as the 1st runners up.
